 Dive Belongas Bay – challenging dives and lush tropical atmosphere!
The Belongas Bay Lodge is situated in a protected bay and can be reached in 5 minutes by boat from Teluk Sepi. The bay offers pristine beaches for swimming, snorkelling and relaxing. The beach in front of the lodge invites you to enjoy the sunset after an exciting day of diving!
The furthest dive site, „The Magnet“, can be reached in 25 minutes by boat. A pinnacle in the open sea, that is frequented by schools of barracudas, tunas and hammerhead sharks, waits to be explored. At this dive site we oftentimes experience strong currents and rough seas. Minimum Prerequisites for diving the “Magnet” and the “Cathedral” are a advanced certification and, from November until end April, 50 logged dives. From May until end October, 100 logged dives. We reserve the right to ask for a check dive before diving at these dive sites.
The other dive sites in Belongas Bay are very suitable for the less experienced divers and wait with breathtaking coral reefs and an abundance of underwater life. Schools of mantas or macro paradise - here you can find it all. For diving in Belongas Bay we use our 9m fiberglass boat with two 40hp engines, and most of the dive sites can be reached within a 15 minute boat ride. Per day there are up to 4 dive outings possible, at which we take a maximum of 4 divers and 1 guide onto the speedboat. For larger groups we utilize our 12m outrigger boat to dive the dive sites closer to the bay.
We offer diving at Belongas Bay as day trips starting from Senggigi, Sekotong, as well as from Kuta, Lombok. However, we suggest that you book a minimum of 2 days and 1 night, if you want to “definitely” dive at “The Magnet” or at "The Cathedral". Due to the fairly long drive from Senggigi and Kuta we can not guarantee that the water conditions allow us to go out to these dive sites if arriving late from the mentioned destinations.

Diving here you’ll find an unspoiled underwater paradise with pristine reefs and intact environment. There are still many places to be explored around here! After diving you can relax and enjoy a tropical and welcoming atmosphere!
Diving South-East Lombok, you can experience impressive diving in a pristine environment and huge marine diversity! During our “exploration days” we undertake 2 exciting early morning dives, and after a relaxed lunch break we go out for another dive to discover new reefs. The underwater world in this area is rocky with boulders and “swimthroughs” in a depth range from 10 to 50 meters.
There are still many exploration possibilities in the south east of Lombok, and who knows: Maybe we’ll find a new dive site together which you can name then. For our “exploration days” we require the participants to hold an advanced certification and have a minimum of 100 logged dives!
